Consultation Services

The Living Law Society offers private consultation services to its Consult Members. Consultations provide personalized guidance on matters related to the Society's areas of focus.

What Consultations Cover

Consultations are educational conversations between a member and one of our consulting members. We discuss the structure of the member's situation in light of the principles taught in our courses, and we consider how the lawful instruments and relationships covered in our material might apply.

What Consultations Are Not

Consultations are not legal advice, and our consulting members are not the member's attorney. The Living Law Society does not represent members in any forum, court, or proceeding. We educate, and we help members understand how lawful principles bear on their own affairs.

How to Schedule

Consultation access is included with Consult Membership. Once a member's Consult status is active, they may schedule consultations through the member portal.

Preparation

Consultations are most useful when the member arrives prepared: with a clear question, the relevant documents in hand, and a working familiarity with the course material that bears on their matter. We encourage members to review our education offerings before scheduling.
